There are a lots of online services we use. Sometimes we also keep or share our precious data via those services. Then we talk about privacy. We don't want others to watch over our data. Also we believe the service company that they will keep our data safe. Sometimes companies use your data to show ads or to improve the system or service they are giving you.
MOST OF THE PEOPLE DON't TRUST FACEBOOK
Facebook is one of the biggest social network site. But do you know facebook sells your information to advertisers? You can see how it works. Like last year I found out facebook actually showing me what I was talking about with my friend the other day. I was talking about xperia with a friend on messenger . And next day I found sony xperia ads everywhere. Then Next day I was talking about Arduino board. Again the same thing. So what happens actually is that facebook learns from your messages and posts you make on facebook then sell that data to advertisers so that they can show you the correct thing.
A verge survey found out most of the american people don't trust facebook. There are some privacy threat. EVERYTHING IS OK BUT Something is wrong
On Viber there is problem that sometimes when you call other person you might hear some other's conversation as well. Like you are calling your friend but on that time you might hear some other people talking. They can't hear you at all but you still listen them talking. This happened to me a lot of times. After that it was kind of the privacy threat to me. Like I can hear other's conversation. Maybe they can also hear me as well.
There is another messenger called imo which is very poor if you want more secure communication. BUT WAIT THERE ARE SOME SECURE OPTIOns
There are also some good secure messenger available. Signal messenger is one of them.
Signal gives you encrypted messages, as well as voice and video calls. It relies on data, so it’s a great option for free calls and texts over Wi-Fi. This can be a huge advantage for those of us who don’t want to pay for SMS text messages and phone calls, or who want to make free international calls. It’s not only convenient, but security experts recommend Signal for a few different reasons. Signal is end-to-end encrypted, meaning that no one but your device and conversational partner’s device can read the messages you send. The team behind the software, Open Whisper Systems, is a privacy centered not-for-profit organization and relies on grants and donations. Perhaps most importantly, Signal is open source, meaning that the code is publicly viewable. It can be examined for potential security holes, and has stood up to auditing. All of these features make Signal one of the best options for boosting your communication security.
TELEGRAM is another secure messaging platform. Which also gives you end to end encryption support with lots more.
THERE ARE OTHER VERY GOOD SERVICES AS WELL. NOW it's on you who you are gonna trust with your data
